These teams match up evenly when looking at statistics, but Western Kentucky has played a very difficult schedule so far, facing teams like Kentucky, Indiana, South Florida, and Nebraska. The public knows Western Kentucky to be a winless team this season and last season. However, this game will be the Hilltoppers best chance at a win so far this season. They came very close to defeating UL Monroe last season, leading them late in the 4th quarter before Monroe got a late touchdown. However, I feel that Western Kentucky will have revenge on their minds this season, and a tough non-conference schedule has prepared them for this game. Look for them to get their first win as a Division I team in this game.
