Profile: This game features two teams that have had defensive struggles this season. The Ragin Cajuns have given up an average of 35 points and 400 yards per game, while the Cowboys have also given up over 400 yards on defense and 30 points per game. UL Lafayette also gave up 55 points to Georgia, who hasn’t been a great offensive team this season. Oklahoma State has been an offensive machine this season, averaging 52 points per game. They also put up 38 points against a decent defense in Texas A&M. Oklahoma State has also given up tons of points to Troy and Tulsa. I expect UL Lafayette to fall behind significantly in the second half, which means Oklahoma State’s defense will relax and let up some late touchdowns. Look for OSU to score over 40 points with ULL putting up three touchdowns or more. Their offense will try and make the game respectable at home in front of their home fans on television.
