Profile: MTSU quarterback Dwight Dasher had a rough start once he returned to the line-up. He had to face Troy in they have already had a few games under their belt, then he had to face Georgia Tech in his next game. However, Dasher is coming off of his best game by far last week with a win over UL Monroe. Statistically, MTSU has the much better defense in this game, and they have better athletes overall. Arkansas State has one of the worst defenses in college football meanwhile. They have a potent passing game, but MTSU’s defense is fairly decent. Arkansas State is trying to create buzz around this game, but there is little to no home field advantage in the Sun Belt. I look for Dasher to have a big game and for the Raiders defense to play fairly well. Look for MTSU to get the win on the road.
