Profile: Pacific has a huge edge in motivation and experience. They have a very talented team that plays well together because of their experience. The Tigers got an impressive win last night against Nevada, but they want this game badly against a big name school. UCLA meanwhile still has a very inexperienced team. One of the biggest problems is that the Bruins point guard was awful last year, and it’s not good that he’s back this year unless he shows a great deal of improvement. Last night, UCLA let Pepperdine shoot 50% from the field and 40% from the foul line. With this point spread, the Tigers don’t even have to win the game to cover, but I think this game will be back and forth with the point spread never in doubt.
