Baylor is quietly one of the best teams in college basketball but haven’t been getting enough recognition this season because they don’t have the big name of traditional college basketball powers. However, this team is the real deal, evident by their tournament run last year where they were in position to beat national champion Duke before a meltdown late in the game. This team returns several key players from last year’s team, including their star guard LaceDarius Dunn, who was suspended for the first few games of the season. He has been dominant since his return though. Baylor has beaten Arizona State in two straight years, despite those games being played at ASU. The Bears are a vastly better team and Arizona State is coming off of a tournament in Alaska and have to travel again in this game. Baylor is focused, playing well, and has a great home court advantage. In addition, the Sun Devils played poorly in their only road game of the season, a double digit loss at New Mexico. Look for Arizona State to get an easy blowout home win.
